Welcome to St Paul Lutheran Church, a small church with a big heart rooted in Christ. Founded in 1816, St Paul continues the legacy of sharing God's love that was started over 200 years ago. Here at St Paul, we value relationships - both with God and with each other. Our worship life follows a rich and historic liturgy. You can preview our upcoming service by looking at our worship bulletin here. Just click the link and then click "Go." Our services run around an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. Pastor Kurt's sermons are approximately fifteen minutes long. We also offer Christian education for all ages for half an hour before the Sunday service. Regarding our relationships with each other and the wider community, St Paul has a good age range of members - everywhere from young elementary kids to seniors in their 90s. This is a great congregation to build intergenerational relationships. Also, we participate in a number of outreach activities including supporting the Vandalia-Butler Food Pantry, a weekly yoga class for the community, and ongoing participation in Operation Christmas Child. Please join us online for worship and then join us in person. We look forward to partnering with you in sharing God's love with the world.
